American Creek Lodge has focused solely on Wedding Events for the last 6 years.
The owners are now looking to retire and are offering the Lodge in its entirety as a turnkey business
including a separate Owners/Caretakers Residence on the property.
The lodge is only 6km from Hope, at the eastern end of the Fraser Valley. It is ideally situated on the
Western edge of the Coastal Mountains with easy access from the large markets of the Lower Mainland
and Greater Vancouver, via Highway 1.

Business Operation
American Creek Lodge currently operates from mid-April to early November.
The property is currently rented out as a whole package. Guests have exclusivity for a 2-night period to
hold their Event, bringing in Vendors to provide the services they require, including Caterers, Officiant,
Bar
• Weekend Rentals are from 2pm on a Friday to 2pm on a Sunday.
• Midweek Rentals are from 10am on a Tuesday to 2pm on a Wednesday.
Ceremonies take place on the Decks, with the Wedding Reception utilizing the Event Space and the
Extensive Grounds of the Lodge.
The Owners are available during the rental period but are not on site unless they are needed.

Property Set Up
The Property is set in 25 Acres of mixed woodland, with extensive views over the Fraser Canyon and
beyond. The Lodge provides accommodation for up to 14. The Event Space can be used for a maximum
of 120 guests. Next to the Event Space is a heated washroom facility, 3 patio areas, one covered with a
20ft x 40ft Canopy, along with a further covered Catering Area which has a separate access. Adjacent to
the Ceremony Decks is a Whisky/Cocktail Bar.
The owners currently live in a purpose-built Cabin on site in its own grounds, separate from the business.

Revenue
The Lodge has a full event diary and books 18 months in advance.
Payments are spread over the year to a provide regular cash flow into the business. At any point in time,
typically, there is more than $300k of confirmed, deposit paid bookings.

Opportunities for Expansion
• The Lodge is currently open from late April until early November leaving plenty of scope for
extending this period with other rentals and events.
• The current owners limit the number of mid-week events. This business stream could be
increased easily as demand already exists.
• Ability to provide more services in house offering Complete Event Packages bringing increased
revenue.
• Potential for expansion to provide additional accommodations on the 25-acre site.

Beautiful venue! Highly recommend
American Creek Lodge was more than we could ask for in a venue! The ceremony deck & view is even
more beautiful than what you see in a photo. The reception space was cozy in all the right ways, and very
well maintained! Everything was very thoughtfully done in the space and looked great! It made it easy to
make our vision come alive. We loved being able to have the lodge space to stay onsite for the weekend,
another very beautiful and cozy space to accommodate all the guests who stayed with us over the
weekend. We have absolutely nothing bad to say. Chris & Alison are amazing hosts, quick to respond,
able to answer your questions & overall just very kind in any interaction. Budget wise we found it quite
affordable - you get it for the whole weekend, and there is flexibility in choosing your own vendors which we really appreciated. Just go for it!

110% recommend booking here!
I would 110% recommend using American Creek Lodge as a venue. The owners are incredible to work
with. It was a breeze to schedule venue visits (as many as we wanted), they responded to emails promptly,
and they made small adjustments to the reception space to accommodate our decor. The venue itself is
beautiful. Our guests raved about how amazing it was all night. We are so happy that we decided to have our wedding here
